Servgrow Templates allow you to create an unlimited number of job and estimate templates so that you don't ever have to re-enter information again- giving you more time to where it matters most to you.

In this tutorial, we'll dive into how to create the templates and how to use the templates.

Let's get to it!

1. How to Create a Template

First, you'll go to Settings (upper right), then Templates

Next, you'll select which type of template you'll want to create. There are two options, a job template or an estimate template. For this tutorial, we'll be using job templates.

Creating and using estimate templates follows the same flow as creating and using job templates.

Let's create a job template.

a. Click Job Template and then 'Add New Template'.

b. Name Your Template (Try to be as detailed as possible)

Remember, you can create as many job templates as you would like!
Pro Tip: Create as many as possible to cover all jobs for any situation.

c. Fill in the template to cover all job details.

Filling in the template is almost exactly like filling in the job details when creating a job.

Now just fill in the details of the particular job.

  • Service and Materials

  • Forms

  • Tags

  • Private Notes

  • Attachments

  • Discounts

  • Expenses

Keep in mind that you can add/remove any data when using the template for a new job.

After filling in the job details, click create template 🚀!

2. How to Use a Job Template

First navigate to the jobs page, click the 'Add Job' and select 'From Job Template'.

Next, find the template to that you would like to use for this particular job.

After finding the job template and clicking create, you'll be directed to find and add the customer just as if you were starting a new job.

After adding the customer, you following the same flow and will be directed to schedule the job.

Keep in mind that you can always 'skip' scheduling a job by clicking 'next' on the schedule page.

Once you have clicked 'Next', you be directed to the line items portion of the job details. This page should have everything pre-populated with details from the template you selected.

You can add or remove any of these details.

Clicking 'Next' will take you to additional details of the job. This page should have everything pre-populated with details from the template you selected.

Now, just click 'Create Job'.

You can create new templates, delete templates or edit templates at anytime.

That's it! Now start creating your templates so that you have more time to do the things that matter most to you.
