Your Servgrow website already works at its servgrowpro.com address. Pointing your own domain at it makes your real business address, like yourcompany.com, open your new site, while your email keeps working exactly as it does today. At GoDaddy it takes about 10 minutes.

Before you start
You need your GoDaddy login.
Do not change your nameservers. You only add or edit two records. Changing nameservers can switch off your email.
Leave your MX and TXT records alone. Those run your email.
These steps work when your domain uses GoDaddy's own nameservers (they contain domaincontrol.com). If your records are managed somewhere else, follow the article for that company instead.
Step 1: Open your DNS records
Sign in to GoDaddy and open your Domain Portfolio.
Select your domain to open its Domain Settings.
Select DNS. You now see your DNS records.
Step 2: Clear the old records
Your domain can only point to one website at a time, so remove whatever points it somewhere else first:
If your domain has Forwarding turned on, remove it first (DNS > Forwarding > Delete). Forwarding locks the A record.
If you see a connected template above the records table (for example Squarespace or another website builder), select Remove next to it.
GoDaddy parking addresses (3.33.130.190 and 15.197.148.33) are replaced by our address. If both exist, edit one and delete the other.
The www row is usually a CNAME with the value @. Delete it before adding the new www record.
Step 3: Add the two Servgrow records

Enter exactly these values. Both records point to the same address. Leave TTL at its default.
If Domain Protection is on, GoDaddy asks for a code by text or authenticator app when you save or delete a record.
Step 4: Tell us you are done
Message us from the chat bubble in Servgrow, or reply to the email where we sent you this article, and say your records are in. We finish the switch on our side: your site starts opening at your own domain, gets its security certificate (the padlock) automatically, and your old servgrowpro.com address forwards to it so no link ever breaks.
Most changes show up within an hour. Some take up to 48 hours to reach every network, so if your domain still shows the old site right away, give it a little time.
