The recurring job option is a great tool in ServGrow that will save you a ton of time. This tool automatically sets the recurrence of the same job for a customer based on the frequency you set up.

Note: The Recurring job option in the schedule details is different than recurring jobs in Service Plans. Go here for the difference between the two and which one fits how you're going to bill/invoice your customer.

To schedule a recurring job, follow these steps:

1. Once you start to schedule a job, you will see an option to recur a job.

2. You have many option when determining the recurrence of the job. Once you select a specific option, settings will open up.

Here are your options:

Never

Daily

Yearly

Let's set up both Weekly and Monthly, which are the popular ones.

Weekly Job Recurrence

Weekly: Certain Day of the Week (Monday - Sunday)

Sample Scenario 1:

If you want to (a) invoice every Wednesday of the week and (b) do the job on the every Wednesday of each week.

Settings will allow you to pick any particular day of the week to recur. You can also pick more than one day of the week.

You can also change the settings to (a) repeat every X number of weeks and (b) choose when to end the recurrence.

Monthly Job Recurrence

Sample Scenario 1 - Monthly: Certain Day

If you want to (a) invoice on the 7th of each month and (b) do the job on the 7th of each month.

Settings will allow you to pick any day of the month to recur.

Sample Scenario 2 - Monthly: Certain Day of the Week (Monday - Sunday)

You can also change the settings to (a) repeat every X number of months and (b) choose when to end the recurrence.

And don't worry if you need to change your schedule, you can do that too. We understand that plans can change, so changing the entire string of jobs or just one visit is simple to do.
