How to become A2P 10DLC Compliant?

Enter your Legal Company Name exactly as registered with the IRS (US), CRA (Canada), ABR (Australia) or CRN (UK.

Canadian Based Companies: For companies in Canada, we switched to ONLY accepting the Business Number (BN) rather than the Corporation/Incorporation/Registry ID numbers for Canadian Brand Registration.
We will only accept the first 9 numeric digits of the BN (BN-9).
Here is an example of the format of a BN where the bolded part is the part we will collect in the Canadian Brand.
Tax/Corporation ID field: 123456789RT0001
DBA/Trade/Operating Name: Your DBA/Trade Name/Operating Name must be registered under the same # as your main registered business.
Website Opt-ins and Data Collection
Mandatory Overview:
The website you provide must match business branding and must be the final, direct URL for your business and must include the following:
A Privacy Policy page that contains the required opt-in language
A Terms of Service page that contains the required opt-in language
All website forms must clearly include the proper opt-in language (see below)
Please note:
Websites that redirect to another URL will be rejected.
Websites missing the required opt-in language on ALL forms, Privacy Policy pages, or Terms of Service pages will also be rejected.

A2P 10DLC rules mandate using a mobile carrier-provided number for your business registration, which excludes most VoIP services like Google Voice.

Due to new regulations, all company information submitted during this registration process must match the legal company information you have registered with your state. It is crucial that the details provided, including your company name, address, and tax identification number, are accurate and consistent with the official records held by your state's business registry. This compliance ensures that your registration with Servgrow is valid and in accordance with legal requirements. Failure to provide matching information will in most cases result in a declined registration process.
Failure to do any of the above mandatory steps will result in a failed business registration.

You'll only have 3 attempts at successfully registering your phone number so make sure all steps are followed correctly.
Review and Approval Timeline: Along with the new regulations (A2P 10DLC) requiring all US businesses to register their dedicated phone number, comes a thorough review and approval process. This review and approval process is done via a third party associated with Twilio- who is the regulator in this case.
As far as time for approval, this can very depending on multiple factors- however we usually see an answer within 7 business days. This process is standard for any US company registering custom numbers.
Steps to Complete Registration
Regulations include your public business information, including website will be vetted for compliance (by and independent 3rd party) so make sure all business information is accurate. Follow the steps and advice below to help reduce the chance of any delays on your registration.
1. Using a desktop computer, sign into Servgrow, navigate to setting and click 2-way text messaging.
2. Input your official legal Business Name.
Enter your Legal Company Name exactly as registered with the IRS (US) or CRA (Canada)
3. Input your legal Business Address.
This must be a physical address and should also be associated with your EIN or BA.
4. Select your correct legal Business Type.
The business type you select must align with your business's legal documentation. Selecting the wrong business type will result in a failed registration.
In the Business Type selection within Servgrow, your options include:
Sole Proprietorship
Partnership
Limited Liability Corporation (LLC)
Cooperative
Non-profit Corporation:
Corporation
5. Enter the Tax ID (EIN) or BN associated with your business.

6. Industry
Enter the industry that matches your business the best.
7. Website URL
Your website will be vetted to ensure compliance.
The website URL you enter must be the final website address for your business. No 301 or redirects to another URL will be allowed.
Website URL's that redirect to another website will be rejected.
8. Website Forms
All website forms but have verbiage explicitly letting the custom know that they will be receiving text messages and what type of text messages.
Op-tin language:
By providing your contact information and submitting this form, you consent to receive service reminders, notifications, and offer communications from [Your Company Name] via text message. You can reply
STOP to opt-out."
If you do not have a website, inquire (via chat) about Servgrow's free custom website that is included in your plan.
8. Enter your point of contact’s name, position, email address, and mobile phone number.
The point of contact will be used to complete the messaging service registration and may also be contacted to verify business details.
Mobile Phone Number: It's critical that you list a mobile number that was directly supplied by a mobile carrier (Verizon, T-mobile, Att, etc.)
A2P 10DLC rules mandate using a mobile carrier-provided number for your business registration, which excludes most VoIP services like Google Voice.
Email Address: For better approval and trust score, this email should match your website URL. For instance, if your email is joe@precisionlandscaping.com, then your website should ideally be precisionlandscaping.com.
9. Double Check all of the above information for consistency:
Typos, incorrect Tax IDs, invalid website URLs, using VoIP numbers, wrong business types, etc. will all result in your registration being rejected.
The registration form will be accessible to all Company Admin users within Servgrow, but only one needs to fill it out. The phone number provided in this form should be that of the contact person, not your company's dedicated phone number, as we already have the latter recorded for the registration process.
Once you have filled out the form and double checked all information, click submit!
