Credit card processing:

Servgrow provides credit card processing through Stripe - the industry leader in payment processing renowned for its bank-level security measures.

All cards processed through Servgrow and Stripe are encrypted on disk with AES-256. The decryption keys are stored on a separate device. This means that as soon as a customer's card is scanned using the Servgrow mobile app or input into the Servgrow web portal, it is secured and unretrievable by the user.

As of January 1st, 2024, our standard credit card processing rates are as follows:

  • 2.7% +.5 cents a transaction for when the card is swiped, tapped, or chipped with our card reader: Mobile card reader set up.

  • 2.99% +.30 cents a transaction if the card is entered online by the customer via an invoice emailed to them

  • 3.49% + .30 cents a transaction when the card details are manually entered or scanned with the app or entered by your staff in the web portal.

We'll be cover the different ways to accept an online payment.

Ok, let's get started!

Accepting Online Payments Via the Web App

  1. On the action bar, click the 'Pay' icon on the far right.

  2. Select 'Card'

  3. Now, you'll have the option to use a 'Saved' card or proceed to use a card that isn't saved.

    • If using a saved card, check the box and the select from the saved cards on file for the customer and then 'proceed with payment'.

    Congrats! You just got paid.

    • If accepting an online payment from a customer that doesn't have a saved card, select 'card', then proceed with payment.

    You'll be directed to enter card information or select online payment method.

    Now, just enter card details or other method and click 'Pay'.

That's it!

Receiving Online Payments via the Customer Portal

Customers can pay their invoice online via their customer portal.

  1. Send invoice to customer

    When 1st sending the invoice, you'll have the option to send via text, email or both.

    Once the customer receives the invoice via text or email, they'll be directed to their customer portal where they can pay their invoice online.

    After selecting 'Pay Invoice', your customer will now have the option to add or use a 'saved card'
