Did you know that you have a record of your customer that contains their full details inside ServGrow? When we say "full," it's literally all the information and transactions you've made with this customer. Your main goal is to update your customer's information regularly and understand all data that belongs to your customer. Through this practice, you can identify your relationship with them and if they are periodically acquiring your service. Besides, more service means more revenue, right?

Here are the different steps on how to access an individual contact:

1. Navigate to 'Customers' from the top navigation bar.

2. Choose a customer from the list.

You can also click the pencil icon to view the full details of the customer.

Here's an actual view of an individual contact record. You will see that their information is divided into seven tabs. Each tab contains a specific information such as the customer's:

Details

The Details tab displays the basic information of the customer. You can edit all the details here if needed.

The Details tab displays their:

  • Contact Information

  • Property Address

  • Notes (customer and property)

  • The source where the customer came from (e.g., Angie's List, Facebook, or referral)

  • Notifications (If you want the customer to receive notifications or not)

  • Document Attachments

Jobs

The Jobs tab lets you quickly view all the jobs assigned for this customer. You can either create a new job or edit a job for this customer.

Use the search filter to find a job quickly. To use this tool, simply type a keyword on the search box and view all the jobs that have the keyword you just entered.

With the help of tags, quickly filter out the jobs you are looking for. Add tags when creating a new job to find them easily. You can combine different tags to achieve a more precise search result.

If you need to add a new job for this customer, click the 'Add Job' button and complete the job creation steps.

Estimates

The Estimates tab displays all the estimates created for this customer. Similar to the tools found in the Jobs tab, you can search, filter tags, and directly make an estimate here.

Invoice History

Monitor all the customer invoices from this tab. All information about the customer's invoices is listed on a data grid to view the details that you want to identify quickly.

Click an invoice number to view the full details of the invoice. You can also use the Search box to filter the invoice that you want to see.

Subscription History

All Service Plans that this customer subscribed to will be listed here. You will see all the information about their subscription and review its details in this section

Depending on the mode of payment (manual or automatic) that the customer chooses, you can process their subscription payments from this section. If they picked manual payment, you would have the option to process their subscription status to paid.

Service Plans

View all the Service Plans that this customer subscribed to from this tab. You can also create a service plan for this customer right here.

If you need to add a new service plan for this customer, click the 'Add Service Plan'.

Cards

The cards tab is the last section on this dashboard. Here, you can see your saved card where the customer's payment will proceed.

If you haven't connected your bank account yet, click the 'Add Card' button. If you need help on how to set up your bank account, click here,

Now that you know what each tab actually contains, you will also notice a button where you can invite this customer to the Customer Portal you've made or remove this customer from your current records.

Note: Deleting a customer from the database can't be undone, so make sure you also have a backup of them by exporting your contacts straight from ServGrow.
