Turning estimates into one of your jobs is perhaps one of the milestones you must achieve. Sending estimates to jobs means you've closed your proposal, and your customers are waiting to get served. Besides, turning estimates into jobs means only one thing - profit.

This article will discuss the different stages of how estimates work, from scheduling to turning client-approved estimates into jobs.

Here are the steps:

1. Navigate to 'Estimates' tab.

2. Choose an estimate from the list.

You an also use the Search box or Tags drop-down to sort or find an estimate.

You can set the job's schedule and then at the later part, mark the job as completed and paid. To help you understand better, here are the different icons that you'll see here:

Scheduling

Click this icon to set or edit the schedule of a job. You will be redirected to the Schedule Dashboard once you click this icon.

OMW (On My Way)

Click this icon to notify your customer that you are on your way to performing the estimate.

Set the date and time and check the notify customer checkbox if you want to send an SMS once this schedule is triggered.

Please note that the travel duration tracking will start once this action is activated.

Starting Estimate

Let your customers know that the estimate has started by clicking this icon.

You can set the date and time from here and upload an image of the estimate's status. This action will stop travel duration tracking and start on estimate duration tracking.

Finishing Estimate

Once you complete the estimate, go ahead and click the Finish icon. This action will set the status of the estimate to finished and will stop its tracking duration.

Don't forget to tick the Notify customer checkbox if you want to send an SMS to them that the estimate is completed and is ready for their approval.

Sending Details of Estimate

After completing the estimate, you will have to send the details to your customer for review and approval.

Here's a sample estimate that your customer will receive. You can choose if you want to send your customized message as text, email, or both.

Customer Approval

If your customer approves your proposal, it's time to approve your estimate. There are two stages before an estimate gets approved: Approval from your side and the customer's approval through their signature.

If the customer signs the estimation approval, you can already copy the estimate into one of your jobs.

Copying to Job

Congratulations! If you reach this point, your estimate is fully approved!

Now, hit that Copy button, convert the estimate to one of your jobs and let your revenue climb up!
